Before your hunt...
Hunt Duration
Our minimum 10-bird hunt typically lasts between 3 - 4 hours. If booking allows, all day hunts can be requested. Please fill out our scheduler below to reserve one of our sessions, or even a whole day.
Required Items
Before any hunting takes place, clients are required to bring a current identification along with a valid hunting license. For out of state clients, the Idaho Fish & Game offers a shooting preserve permit for only $32 for the season. Guns and ammo are not provided and must be brought by each hunter.
Cost
Our standard hunt requires the minimum purchase of 10 pheasants—roosters at $35, hens at $30. All day hunts and blackout date requests are subject to higher rates and availability fees. Please contact Erik at West River Pheasant Hunting Preserve to request further availability for all-day hunts.
*A completed and signed release of liability waiver is required for every client regardless of hunting status. License numbers are collected in accordance with the Idaho Fish & Game.
